  • Phone call metadata (duration, time, caller ID) via our telephony integrations
  • Call recordings and transcriptions for calls routed through our platform (with your consent)

We may receive information from third-party services we integrate with, including:

  • Google Ads campaign performance data (read-only access)
  • Phone system data from Quo (formerly OpenPhone)
  • Payment status from Stripe

SMS/Text Messaging Policy

SCOUT is primarily an SMS-based service. By providing your phone number and subscribing to SCOUT, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from us at the phone number you provide.

Types of Messages

  • Daily business coaching tips and action items
  • Call analysis reports and sales coaching feedback
  • Lead follow-up reminders and booking confirmations
  • Subscription and billing notifications
  • Responses to your questions and requests

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your usage and interactions. Typical users receive 5–20 messages per day. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to any message from SCOUT. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Note that opting out of SMS will effectively cancel your SCOUT service, as SMS is the primary delivery channel.

Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Our security practices include:

  • User data is stored in secure, access-controlled databases hosted by Supabase
  • Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant) — we never store credit card numbers
  • API keys and credentials are stored as encrypted environment variables, never in source code
  • Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Specifically:

  • Account information is retained while your subscription is active and for 90 days after cancellation
  • SMS message history is retained for up to 12 months for service improvement purposes
  • Call recordings and transcriptions are retained for up to 6 months
  • Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with the following categories of service providers who assist in operating our platform:

  • Linq — iMessage, RCS, and SMS delivery
  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI processing for coaching and analysis (conversation data is sent for processing but not used for model training)
  • OpenAI (Whisper) — Audio transcription of call recordings
  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • Supabase — Database hosting
  • Vercel — Application hosting
  • Quo (formerly OpenPhone) — Business phone system integration
  • Google — Advertising data and analytics
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
